IWKA for Kids

“I was rather skeptical when I was told Kung Fu would help my child become more disciplined, confident and have higher self-esteem. Well now he is more respectful, disciplined and confident.”

Give your children the greatest gift of all, confidence

Dear Parents,

The truth is that martial arts can have a positive affect on children in multiple ways. Throughout the course of my 15-year teaching career I have seen numerous success stories. Children come in to train and they begin to learn about the value of hard work and personal responsibility.

The type of benefits that children experience in martial arts are unlike any other sport. All other physical activities are inferior to children learn here.

In just a short time you will watch as your child gains confidence and learns that they are unstoppable in their quest for:

  • Better grades in school
  • A higher sense of self-worth
  • Greater agility and physical strength
  • Development of both the mind and body

And all of this will be the result of them learning how to “kick, block, and punch.”

This might sound a little silly, but there’s a reason that it works. The changes don’t come from fighting itself, but from a deeper and more difficult battle against unseen forces. Your child’s fears and doubts. Their low self esteem and shaky sense of self. Issues that you may not see, but they ask themselves repeatedly:

“I’m not as clever as Mary.”

“I’ll never understand what my teacher is saying.”

I want to be as strong, good-looking, and tall as Simon.”

“Why do the other kids keep giving me a hard time?”

“Why can’t I be popular?”

By now you probably want to know how we, a martial arts school, can get your child to overcome their negative thoughts.

It’s simple really. I have a proven solution that is highly effective. I call it:

 Pandas, Tigers and Dragons

This is a program that has worked for hundreds of children throughout our world wide association. It is a series of valuable lessons that children learn and adapt to. And the process is much easier than you might think.

Good martial arts is less about teaching children to fight external forces, and more focused on showing them how to combat their inner fears.

By helping them to defeat self-doubt and breakthrough the negative mindset that is holding them back, they can unleash a powerful and nearly unstoppable force. A “can do” attitude that lets them overcome any challenges that they face and shows them just talented they truly are.

Consider this, when your child learns discipline through Kung Fu they can put those same principles into actions in other areas of their life. I have been teaching these methods for 15 years and have never seen any other sport achieve results like this.

Let us make a huge difference in the life of your child

Okay, so you’re probably curious as to what the secret is. How does it work and why does Kung Fu produce the best results?

I’ll tell you.

Your child will gain the ability to cultivate and explore their natural power. Unlike other sports, which rely on group dynamics, Kung Fu focuses on the individual. This makes the process much more personal.

The children who practice this art are always astonished, like you will be, at their personal development. Their flexibility, strength, endurance, harmony, and balance all improve greatly. And this is just the start!

Physical developments are just the start. The foundation if you will. The deeper, and more important, developments are the children’s mental and spiritual abilities.

We aren’t trying to produce champion fighters we always win in the ring. Our goal is to make your child a champion at life. Someone who can win at whatever activity they put their mind to. Our course builds two important life skills that many people would never learn otherwise. Trust and Staying power.

Trust

Children who enroll in this program will develop the courage to work outside their comfort zone. They’ll begin to feel secure with bigger tasks and challenges. Mastering Kung Fu moves that increase in difficulty will teach them the importance of hard work and effort. Success isn’t magic, it’s the result of putting in an effort and reaping the rewards. And they’ll learn that. Kung Fu teaches self-reliance. No one who trains here will ever feel like they’re helpless and a slave by fate.

Staying power

Kids take joy in seeing positive improvement. As their physical skills improve they are able to run further, move faster, and hone their abilities. This reinforces the idea that you should never give up. With the guidance of their teacher, children will be able to understand the value of working towards something and improving incrementally.

Where performance is measured, performance improves.

By measuring their current strengths and learning about improvement, children cannot fool themselves into thinking that progress is hopeless. They’ll get a greater focus, and develop new skills that can benefit every aspect of their lives. For example, in Kung Fu class children learn to make eye contact with their elders. This carries over to the outside world where they will be more confident and mature when interacting with adults. Kung Fu truly is the best thing you can do for your child.

Lastly, our instructors teach children that their Kung Fu skills should never be abused or used for bad purposes. This is a program about peace and self-mastery, not violence and aggression. As a result, even the most hot-tempered students become more calm and reserved. Their confidence allows them to face challenges without getting angry or upset.
